Early Years

Our Early Years Reception offers a small-class setting, which ensures that each pupils receives the very best education. Current class size is 14.

Our philosophy in Reception is that every child is a competent learner. We encourage all the boys to become independent, respect one another and to form positive relationships with both adults and children in our setting. We as teachers will provide an environment that is both stimulating and supportive of the children's learning through all six areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. We recognise that each child is unique and that children develop and learn at different rates. All areas of learning and development are equally important. We strive to ensure that the children start their learning journey feeling happy and settled.
