History

Founded in 1896, the College has always combined high academic performance with traditional values. Hard work, tolerance and friendship have always been most prized and this remains true to this day.

Originally a boys-only school, Cranbrook College has plans for a 3-18 co-education institution with an inclusive approach to a rounded education. Acquisition by Cognita School Ltd in April 2007 and the appointment of Cranbrook's new permanent Headteacher Andrew Moss in September 2007, has prepared the College for this next stage in its development.
